Exodus 25:31

 "Then you shall make a lampstand of pure gold. The lampstand and its base and its shaft are to be made of hammered work; its cups, its bulbs and its flowers shall be made of one piece with it."

The lampstand, made of one talent of gold or about 75 pounds was of quite large in Its scale. Jewish tradition tells us that the lamp stood 5 feet tall, and about 3 1/2 feet across. Its seven bulbs holding finely beaten olive oil, would light the dark confines of the holy place. The golden lampstand represents Christ as our light as we are told in John, "There was the true Light which coming into the world, enlightens every man." (1:9) For its He who brings us to the fulness of the glory of divine life in Him.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.

Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.

Prayer Points

Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.

River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.

California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.

East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
