Shepherd to Sheep

Exodus 32:29

Then Moses said, "Dedicate yourselves to the Lord- for every man has been against his son and against his brother- in order He may bestow a blessing upon you today."

The thought here may be one of dedication or perhaps rededication. We have seen much in this chapter' the out and out sin of the people, the lie of Aaron, and even the anger of Moses. God's desire for His people was for much more than a life of separation caused by sin. His desire for close fellowship and communion with the children of Israel would be facilitated by His great mercy, grace and forgiving nature, A call to dedication and repentance on behalf of the people would help facilitate an outpouring of spiritual blessings that the Lord had always desired. The thought for us today, a life dedicated in love and service to the Lord, helps maintain the fullness of spiritual blessings for the child of God.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.

Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.

Prayer Points

Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.

River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.

California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.

East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
