"Please do not depart from here, until I come back to Thee, and bring out my offering and lay it before Thee. And He said, "I will remain until you return."

Gideon, speaking with the Lord, was uncertain, fearful, probably hungry with doubt and discouragement all rolled in, yet in faith did not want the Lord to depart without bringing an offering to present to Him. Casting all other feelings aside, Gideon in faith displayed a heart of worship. We can glean a strong encouragement from the word of God here, that we ought to be a people of worship in the good and not so great times. We can count our blessings past, present and future, in faith, trusting that the lord is at work.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.

Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.

Prayer Points

Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.

River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.

California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.

East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
