For most of mankind, we are always first attuned to the outward appearance of others. Oh, he looks cool, or she is well dressed, or they look kind of weird, or oh yeah, they look like they would be a good leader. Much like the people then, we too have the thought of the first impressions, appearances and dress and carriage form our views but really tell us nothing of the real person. Take a lesson from the Lord, try and look pass the first impressions, and seek to look inward and find the heart of man. Soft , tender, loves the Lord, or hard and self-centered, pride filled? Throughout the word, we find all sorts and everything in between. For us, it may be well to look beyond the veneer and look for the good in Christ.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.
Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.
Prayer Points
Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.
River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.
California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.
East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
