"And David took his stick in his hand and chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in the shepherd's bag which he had, and his sling was in his hand; and he approached the Philistine."
While facing the giant Goliath, the Lord had David choose five smooth stones as projectiles he would use with his slingshot. Though it would take only one stone to take him out, the Lord had made provision for the other giants he would eventually face. God knew what was to come, and He would provide the weaponry to face all comers. God does the same things for us, bible study, prayer fellowship , communion and worship to name just a few, become part of the repertoire that He has provided for us. Be sure to be well equipped in Christ.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.
Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.

Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.
River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.
California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.
East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
