"These are the names of the mighty men David had........"

The following list of names found in 2nd Samuel, are a short list of those who had surrounded David with support, camaraderie and battle readiness. You may say they served with distinction. Looking back however, these that first came to him, were described as in distress, in dept and discontented. (1 Samuel 22:2) From very humble beginnings, the band of malcontents, became a formidable force to be reckoned with. We can only say the Lord did a work in each heart, in each life, building day by day, one step at a time, as they came seeking all He had for them. Could we venture to say, the Lord is working in us, as we, day by day stay in step with Him.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.

Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.

Prayer Points

Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.

River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.

California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.

East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
