"And Jehoash king of Judah took all the sacred things that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own sacred things and all the gold that was found among the treasuries of the house of the Lord and of the kings house, and sent them to Hazael, king of Aram. Then he went away from Jerusalem."
After many tears of a fairly successful reign, Jehoash now overcome by fear, would revert back totally to the flesh. There was no prayer, no counsel from other Godly men, no waiting on the Lord to move. But it was sheer panic that motivated him. yes, the tribute would satisfy the enemy for now, yet they would come back time and time again. Sin is like that, we pander to it, we try and satisfy it, but until dealt with, it comes back over and over again. Seek Gods help in all things.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.
Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.
Prayer Points
Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.
River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.
California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.
East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
