They approached Zerubabel, and the heads of the fathers' households, and said to them, "Let us build with you, for we are like you....."
As the work continued on the temple of God in Jerusalem, the enemy cleverly crept in, likening themselves to the children of Israel, and sought to join in the work. The enemy is like that at times, seeking to endear themselves to the child of God, yet their real desire is to stymie His work. Seeing through the ploy, the workers would go on building, but would face challenges such as discouragement, fear and frustration along the course. Sounds at times, very similar to what we go through, yet the love of Jesus Christ urges us on in Him.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.
Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.

Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.
River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.
California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.
East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
