"Thus I was strengthened according to the hand of the Lord my God upon me,"
The fate of Jerusalem, the fate of Israel and its people, now lay squarely in the hand of Ezra. To one was entrusted the stewardship of the Lord to set the course of the return of the exiles. We were told earlier, that he was one who had set his heart to study the law of the Lord, to put it in practice, and to teach His statutes and ordinances. All this was to ensure the wellbeing of God's people, and His desire that they would be a people whose lives were lived for Him. So too, in NT times, the love of Jesus Christ places us in the realm, where our lives are trusting that the hand of the Lord God is upon us.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.
Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.

Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.
River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.
California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.
East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
