"Now when it came about when I heard about these words, I sat down and wept and mourned for days; and I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven."

The man of prayer wept profusely before the Lord, as he heard of the dire situation his fellow countrymen were in. Not going off without God's counsel, he would wait upon the Lord for His wisdom. Prayer would birth vision, a call and a way to be a part of the solution. Like many in the world today, our hearts break for the untold stories of the lost and wayward. We too ought to begin with prayer, seeking Him who may lead and direct.
