And he named the second Ephraim, “For,” he said, “God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction."
Nary a word or indication of any complaint by the young Jewish lad as he was taken captive by his brothers, then sold into slavery and thrown into prison. Yet now in this one verse, the story of the years of hardship is revealed. Joseph all along went with God’s plans and purpose, not questioning the Lord. Now second only to the pharaoh of Egypt, a glimpse of what went on through the years, and what the Lord had done in this mans life. A life of surrender to God would mean salvation for his family and many of the families of the world. Oh what the Lord can do through a life surrendered to Him.

Women's Prayer - Happens this Saturday the 11th, here at the chapel at 7:30 a.m. Join the men for worship, and then break off with the other ladies in the overflow for a time of prayer.
Don't Take a Prayer Need Home With You - Right after the service, men and women are available to pray for any need you may have. Don't leave church without receiving prayer.

Lahaina Recovery - Continue to keep in prayer the people of Lahaina and for the entirety of Maui. Long term effects and status of rebuilding, housing for the displaced, job recovery and financial ramifications all come into recovery efforts.
River of Life Mission - Continue to keep the ROLM in prayer during their ongoing outreach into the community. Keep the staff as well as the guests and ministry partners in prayer.
California Wildfire - Continue to pray for the many families affected by the fires.
East Coast - Continue to pray for the ongoing hurricane relief work on the east coast.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem - As the Middle East heats up, pray for the nation of Israel along with all of those in this region who have come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
